Pivo 2 - The Travel-in-any-direction Car

Nissan Motors will be showcasing an update to one of their concept cars called the Pivo 2 - the car that can travel in any direction without doing a u-turn.

It’s a nice concept car that I’m sure will turn heads if it ever makes it to a neighborhood street near you.
The trick to the go-any-direction capability is a 3-seater, rotating cabin, plus wheels that can turn 90 degrees. Essentially, the car can be driven forward and sideways. Now, if only they can make it take off vertically. I think residents of cities where parking can be a hassle (New York City and Tokyo, for example) will most certainly appreciate the ability of this concept car to be driven sideways.The environmentally conscious will also appreciate the fact that Pivo 2 is battery-powered.
