Rollmio: A Unique Media Ad Service

Internet multimedia advertising is a big money business, with most of that money going to ad giants like Google. Web publishers and bloggers only get a small slice of the money. With the new service now being offered by Rollmio, web publishers and bloggers (promoters, in Rollmio terminology) get a little bit more of the ad revenue.

The Rollmio idea goes beyond just making more money for web publishers and bloggers. If you are a creative type, you also get to make money from this service. Here’s how it works. You get an idea for a commercial from Rollmio Clients. If you create a video and it gets selected, you get paid. Bloggers also get paid when they post their favorite Rollmio video commercial on their site or blog. It’s a win-win proposition for all involved.

The service currently has only one client, but I think it is a very good idea that has the potential to become hugely successful. Like other services of it’s type, registration is free.
