Volt Concept Car
General Motors will be showcasing its Chevrolet Volt concept car in the Miami area October 18 - 23, 2007. The Chevy Volt does not look like the Puyo and Pivo 2, but in it’s own way, it looks very nice and very powerful.
It’s is an hybrid, lithium-ion battery-powered vehicle , with a 40 mile range. The range can be extended to 640 miles with its onboard range-extender. It can recharge completely when plugged into a 110-volt outlet in about 6 hours, and can go from 0 to 60 in about 8.5 seconds. Not bad for an electric car. Lets hope it goes into production soon. Read more about this concept vehicle here and here, but enjoy a slideshow before you go.
