Capazoo: Social networking that could fatten your wallet
Social networking Websites like Facebook and MySpace have done very well for their founders. These services, due to their membership numbers, command a premium in advertising revenues. In return, the members get a platform that allows them to share and interact with others. Other that that, there is really no tangible benefits to their members.
But what if there were a social networking site that shared some of its advertising revenues with you? And, beyond that, also shared some of its corporate profits with you - just for being a member. I came across such a social networking service, and it is called Capazoo. It works just like any other social networking service, except that it has three levels of membership (that it shares revenues with): Basic, Privilege, and VIP. The Basic membership is free, and you can upgrade to Privilege or VIP level for $24.92 and $34.95 respectively.
Capazoo members earn money - Zoops in Capazoo jargon - via tipping, referrals, ad revenue, and profit sharing. Ad revenue sharing is on a monthly basis, and profit sharing takes place three time per year. One hundred (100) Zoops gives you $1.00, and you can exchange your Zoops into real cash via a Capazoo cash card, which is just like any other bank debit card.
Capazoo is not a beta service, but some of it’s categories lack content. which I’m sure will change with time and as its membership grows. It is a service worth investigating, and I have joined just to see whether this ad and profit sharing promise is more than just that.

While we will be adding several features and improvements over the next few months, we feel as though we’re primed for a big breakthrough beginning in January.
